Feminist Journal-Writing Workshop

A feminist journal-writing workshop hosted by Uitgeverij Chaos and Read my world.

message to my past self / message to my future self

As the great Ms. Lauryn Hill once asked: ‘How you gon’ win when you ain’t right within?’. Political struggles ask for deep and ongoing personal commitments, with the world around us and with ourselves. As a personal healing practice, journaling has reflective and meditative impact, but it can be an awkward and difficult practice to pick up on.

This workshop invites all those who desire a more just and equal world to experiment with journaling. No required reading, no assignments, just writing by yourself and for yourself.

Workshop hosts will offer theoretical background on feminist journaling practices and guide you through exercises. During quarantine they will take place on Saturday afternoons via Hangouts, if we get to meet again we will move to LAB111.

You can join one or several sessions—workshop descriptions & sign-ups are in the link.
