The Feminist Book Club Amsterdam #1

If you love reading or/and annoy your friends with talking about feminism this announcement is for you:
The Feminist Club Amsterdam book club is coming back in September!
We are going to read some amazing books and have even more amazing discussions about them.

For our first book, we've chosen critically acclaimed "Feminism, Interrupted: Disrupting Power" by Lola Olufemi.
It's very up to date (published in March 2020), short (only 160 pages) but a very condensed study of feminism and politics today. It's a great first pick to kick start our book club.

When:
24th September at 19:00

Where:
Unfortunately, due to everybody-knows-what the meeting will be online on jitsi platform (but we are happy to hear suggestions for other platforms we can use)

How to get the book:
We highly encourage you to buy a book from a local bookstore or borrow it from a fellow book club member. I will post some links to local bookstores in the comments sections.
