Tijdens de Midzomergracht editie van de International Open Stage in de ACU wordt het podium bestegen en bereden door QUEER kunstenaars. Of het nou muziek, dans, cabaret, poëzie, drag, burlesque of theater is, op dinsdag 25 juni is het podium van jou! Naakt of met kleren aan, alleen of samen met je mede queers, in het Spaans, Russisch, Engels of Nederlands: zolang de act niet langer dan zeven minuten duurt, is elke performance welkom.

Inschrijven kan door een mail te sturen naar queeropenstage@gmail.com. Doe dit voor 16 juni en vermeld hierin wie je bent en wat je gaat doen.* Daarnaast is er de mogelijkheid om op de avond zelf een briefje met je naam in DE HOED te stoppen. Aan het einde van de avond zal het lot bepalen welke laatste artiesten het podium zullen betreden. COME. As you are. Because YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!

* bij te veel aanmeldingen zal de organisatie een selectie maken om een zo gevarieerd mogelijk programma te kunnen bieden.

During the Midzomergracht edition of the International Open Stage in the ACU, QUEER artists will TAKE OVER the stage. Whether it’s music, dance, cabaret, poetry, drag, burlesque or theatre, on June 25th the stage is yours! Naked or dressed up, alone or with your queer fellows, in Spanish, Russian, English or Dutch: as long as the act doesn’t take longer than seven minutes, every performance is welcome!

You can sign up by sending an e-mail to: queeropenstage@gmail.com before the 16th of June. The e-mail must contain who you are and what you are going to do.* On the night itself it’s also possible to put a note with your name on it in THE HAT. On the end of the evening, fate will decide which artists are going to close the show. Come. As you are. Because YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.

* If there are too many sign ups, the organization will make a selection to offer an as varied as possible program.
